简介 :
俗名花斑裸胸鯙、錢鰻、薯鰻、虎鰻。棲息於礁區、100-300公尺，無毒性，可食用，無觀賞價值，是經濟性魚類，分布於西北太平洋，產於臺灣東部、北部、東北部、小琉球，最大體長120 cm，模式種產於臺灣基隆。
形態特徵 :
體延長而呈圓柱狀，2-5顆。脊椎骨數142。魚體底色紅褐；體表散布許多小黃白斑點，在背鰭上亦可發現相同特徵，斑點以
棲所生態 :
主要棲息的水層較深，約為100-300公尺深的海底或大陸斜坡。主要以底棲性魚類為食。多為底延繩釣漁法所捕獲。在人為水族環境中不易存活，可能是水壓相差太大的緣故。
地理分布 :
全世界僅分布於日本和歌山縣以南至臺灣一帶海域。在臺灣見於基隆、南方澳和成功等地。本種的模式標本採自臺灣的基隆。
